This Matris shock absorber is designed for road and track use. It is a hydraulic mono-shock with 4 adjustments, featuring a separate nitrogen-pressurized expansion reservoir. The M46KF version differs from the M46K version due to the separate expansion reservoir connected by a hose. Spring preload is adjusted according to the rider's weight. The fixed or movable components are machined from solid lightweight Ergal 7075 aluminum and undergo hard anodic surface treatment. The cylinder and pistons made from 7075 aluminum are subjected to hard anodization for better wear resistance. The adjustment star is made of alloy steel with hard chrome plating. The lower mount is of the ball joint or fork type, machined from solid 7075 aluminum and anodized. Spring preload is adjusted using a nut and counter-nut system consisting of 2 separate groups: 1 - Extension adjustment 2 - Compression adjustment 3 - Rebound adjustment 4 - Adjustable bike stance Suspension system with springs of different rates. The KF version features a separate pressurized expansion reservoir (connected with a hose). Available options: - Hydraulic adjustment of the spring compression as an option, with 3 different types of actuators. - DARK version (black) available upon request (+20.20€), black option code OPTIONAMORT.
