This Matris shock absorber is designed for road and track use. It is a hydraulic mono-shock with 4 adjustments, featuring a separate nitrogen-pressurized expansion tank (nitrogen gas). The M46KF version differs from the M46K version by the separate expansion tank connected via a flexible hose. The spring is calibrated according to the rider's weight.The fixed or movable components are made from lightweight Ergal 7075 aluminum and undergo a hard anodized surface treatment.The aluminum 7075 cylinder and pistons are subjected to hard anodization for better wear resistance. The adjustment star is made of alloy steel with hard chrome plating. The lower mounting is either joint or fork type, made from anodized 7075 aluminum.Spring preload is achieved with a nut and counter-nut adjustment system composed of 2 separate groups: 1 - Extension adjustment 2 - Compression adjustment 3 - Rebound adjustment 4 - Adjustable motorcycle plateSuspension system with springs of varying calibrations.The KF version has a separate pressurized expansion tank (connected with a flexible hose).Available options: - Optional hydraulic compression adjustment with 3 different types of actuators. - DARK version (black) available on request (+20.20€), black option code OPTIONAMORT.
